Richard Bellon, MD, is one of the board-certified neurointerventional surgeons practicing at RIA Neurovascular, in Englewood, Colorado. In addition to his board certification by the American Board of Radiology, he also has a certificate of added qualifications in neuroradiology.
Dr. Bellon earned his Doctor of Medicine at the renowned Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, in Cleveland. He served his internship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland before completing his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Arizona, in Tucson. Dr. Bellon also completed prestigious fellowship programs in diagnostic neuroradiology at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and interventional neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston.
Dr. Bellon has also contributed to many articles in peer-reviewed journals and publications. He is a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
Dr. Bellon focuses on minimally invasive endovascular treatments for cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), dural fistula, and stroke. He offers a patient-focused approach and takes time to answer questions and ensure his patients understand their conditions and treatment options.
