Meet Gerald Riccardello, Jr.

Bio

Gerald Riccardello, Jr., MD, is a distinguished diagnostic neuroradiologist at Radiology Imaging Associates located in Denver, Colorado. 

Dr. Riccardello's educational background includes a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, and a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.

His postgraduate training spans a preliminary internal medicine residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, a diagnostic radiology residency at Rhode Island Hospital, affiliated with Brown University’s Alpert Medical School, and a neuroradiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Riccardello has received numerous awards, including the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the Merck Manual Academic Excellence Award. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.

A longtime researcher, Dr. Riccardello has published peer-reviewed work on topics such as intracranial aneurysms, pulmonary hemorrhage, and cerebral arteriovenous malformations. His research has been presented at major medical conferences, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR).

In addition to his clinical role at RIA Endovascular, Dr. Riccardello is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
